Requirements by level
Bachelor's. A high school diploma or equivalent, photo ID, and a minimum of 4.5 quarter credits of transferable college credit. That last item surprises people: Capella's bachelor's programs are completion-oriented, so a small amount of prior credit is the entry floor, and a large amount is the discount lever.
Master's. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a 3.0 GPA. Below a 3.0, talk to admissions anyway; conditional routes exist program by program, and the worst case is a plan to qualify.
Doctoral. A master's degree from an accredited institution with a 3.0 GPA. Clinical and licensure-track programs layer their own requirements on top, so read your specific program page closely.
The FlexPath gate, because it changes your tuition
FlexPath is not automatic. Capella recommends a 2.8 GPA minimum for FlexPath admission, and bachelor's FlexPath additionally expects about 45 applicable credits, roughly the second half of a degree.
